Jaekel House Stars in Movie

In a private screening, members and executives of Legacy watched the movie Elesin Oba: The King’s Horseman in the VIP Cinema of Ebony Life. This movie directed by Biyi Bandele, the Nigerian director gone too soon, was partly filmed at Jaekel House.

The historical drama based on Wole Soyinka’s novel was filmed in November 2021, and Legacy’s headquarters served as a 1940s British colonial home in Oyo State. More impressions of how the producers changed our historical venue into a colonial home you’ll find on Instagram.
